BordeBaker is a lodge on the Southern Highway on the banks of the Baker River, the most abundant in Chile. Its views give an unsurpassed spectacle towards the mountainous cordons of the Northern Ice Fields. The BordeBaker Lodge was built entirely with wood native to the area and respecting the environment, all under the premise of sustainable development and the promotion of ecotourism. Its gastronomic offer is supplied with fruits and vegetables from orchards and greenhouses of the sector, grown organically by its neighbors. Its dishes are based on the Patagonian culinary culture, using local techniques and products.

The lodge’s 7 spacious rooms overlook the Baker River and Contreras Cordon. Made of lenga and cypress, they have a private terrace and thermal insulation in walls and windows. They are linked by cypress walkways and each has space for two people accommodated in one or two beds.

BY PLANE
Regular flights depart from Santiago de Chile International Airport and Puerto Montt to Coyhaique (Balmaceda Airport). You can hire a private plane to take you to Cochrane Airfield or travel the distance overland, taking the Southern Highway (Route 7) south. Logde BordeBaker is located 8 km south of Puerto Bertrand.
BY CAR
From Puerto Montt to the south, you can travel along the Southern Highway comprising approximately 1,100 km in length. The route is combined with some ferries needed to cross certain sectors.
BY BUS
Sao Paulo and Don Carlos have daily frequencies between Coyhaique and Cochrane
