The Chiloé archipelago is a southern treasure of natural and cultural heritage In its more than 30 islands there are corners, legends and traditions to discover.

Its main attractions are wrapped in palafitos (colorful houses built on stilts above the water), wooden churches (16 of them declared World Heritage by Unesco) and native forests unique in the world. Ancud, Castro and Quellón are its main cities, in addition to the emerging Rilán Peninsula, north of Castro.

In addition, Chiloé was recognized as a World Agricultural Heritage by GIAHS. This recognition seeks to maintain and value the agricultural and culinary traditions of the island, together with the people who preserve them.
